  1. This zip-file contains 41 Files of AmiPro Macros and style sheets. 
  2. All macros were created in Version 2.0 or Version 3.0.
  3. They should run in both. Below is list of the files and a description.
  4. NOTE: The auto letter macro has several files.

  6.     Autolet1.bmp    BMP file illustrating AUTOLET1.STY
  7.     Autolet2.bmp    BMP file illustrating AUTOLET2.STY
  8.     Autolet3.bmp    BMP file illustrating AUTOLET3.STY
  9.     Autolet4.bmp    BMP file illustrating AUTOLET4.STY
  10.     _Autoltr.sty    Style sheet that starts the Auto Letter Macro
  11.     Autolet1.sty    Modified _Letter1.sty used with Auto Letter Macro
  12.     Autolet2.sty    Modified _Letter2.sty used with Auto Letter Macro
  13.     Autolet3.sty    Modified _Letter3.sty used with Auto Letter Macro
  14.     Autolet4.sty    Modified _Letter4.sty used with Auto Letter Macro
  15.     Autodef.sam     Document that stores the default information
  16.     Autolett.smm    The Auto letter macro

  18. The above files are all necessary for the Auto Letter Macro to work.  This
  19. Macro collects all necessary information through a series of dialog boxes
  20. to format a letter.  This macro was modeled after the Automated Letter 
  21. template in WinWord 1.1.  Four style sheets are available for auto 
  22. formating. The default information is currently being stored in AUTODEF.SAM. 
  23. At the time I wrote the macro I did not know how to use .INI files to store 
  24. info. Clearly, this would be a better way to do this and I hope to rewrite 
  25. this macro this summer.

  27.     ST.SMM          Types a superscripted st as in 1st
  28.     ND.SMM          Types a superscripted nd as in 2nd
  29.     RD.SMM          Types a superscripted rd as in 3rd
  30.     TH.SMM          Types a superscripted th as in 4th etc.
  31.     SAVETOB.SMM     Saves the current document and Copies it to B:\
  32.     SAVETOC.SMM     Saves the current document on B: to C:\amipro\docs
  33.     CHNGCASE.SMM    Toggles the case of initial letter of current word
  34.     TYPESET.SMM     Prints Alphabet samples of available fonts. Allows
  35.             you to choose point size and characters including
  36.             ANSI character set.
  37.     CLIPCAT.SMM     Copies Clipart in all file formats Amipro supports
  38.             into a table with the filename under the picture
  39.             Fits 20 to a page.
  40.     WORKSHET.SMM    Creates a Math Worksheet for Elementary school 
  41.             children (great for Teachers!).  Uses +, -, *, & /.
  42.             Allows for one or both numbers to be random.  Uses
  43.             either vertical or horizontal formant with 18, 36
  44.             or 50 problems per page.  Can also mix problem types
  45.     SMARTYPE.SMM    Adds a routine to check insure double spaces after 
  46.             each sentence.  This routing was added to the macro
  47.             provided with AmiPro 2.0 and 3.0
  48.     CHGDOCFT.SMM    Changes the font of all text in the document and
  49.             offers to change the paragraph styles as well.
  50.     FRAMMACS.SMM    Similar to FRAMGLOS.SMM included with AmiPro 3.0.
  51.             However instead of storing the frame in a separate
  52.             document, the frame definition is recorded in a 
  53.             macro. It can't store the frame contents, but
  54.             its fast.
  55.     PSYCH*.SMM      Various macros to manipulate searches downloaded 
  56.             the PSYCHLIT CD database of Psychologica Abstracts
  57.             If you want to find out how to use these (they are 
  58.             very helpful, one even creates an APA style 
  59.             reference list from the abstracts) send E-mail or
  60.             write to the address below.
  61.     _APACOUR.STY    Style sheet for American Psychological Assn. format
  62.     COLORS.SAM      This file uses all the default colors in the AmiPro
  63.             Color palette. Great for printing color samples.

  65. The other files are named to go with the appropriate macros.  *.STY files 
  66. go in your STYLES directory.  All *.SMM, *.BMP, and *.SAM files (except
  67. COLORS.SAM) go in your MACRO directory.  COLORS.SAM goes in your DOCS 
  68. Directory.

  70. I am offering these file in hopes of stimulating others to put Amipro Macros
  71. on CICA.Indiana.  I want to offer these as shareware/freeware.  If you find
  72. these macros to be useful and are willing to compensate me $5 for the many 
  73. hours I spent perfecting these macros (about 40+ hours for AUTOLETT.SMM 
  74. alone!), then please send it to:

  81. with very little guilt.  Maybe you could upload some of you favorite Amipro
  82. macros or style sheets instead.

  84. NOTE: The text code has been striped from the CLIPCAT.SMM, AUTOLETT.SMM, and 
  85.       WORKSHET.SMM to prevent them from being altered or copied. I reserve 
  86.       the rights to these macros.  The others can be altered as you see fit.
